Participate in sharing AI data.

Knowledge Gateways are the bridges between AI data and AI bots. They monitor the EpiK Protocol network in real-time for new AI data and download the data to recover the latest database locally while giving access to all changes made to the data. Then based on the database, they build the API service accessible to all AI bots in Web3.0.

Data Collateral

In the EpiK Protocol network, everyone can stake $AIEPK as data collateral to download data. Staking 1 $AIEPK represents a data download quota of 10 Mib per day. The unused quota will be cleared and reset the next day. The data collateral can be unlocked three days after submitting the withdrawal request and can then be traded in secondary markets. That essentially means that everyone who wants to access this data can do so for free.

Special Data Collateral

Knowledge nodes need to download new data from other knowledge nodes and store new data to increase their mining power. This means that knowledge nodes also need to stake some $AIEPK as data collateral.

Incentive

Intuitively, we need to incentivize knowledge nodes to provide additional bandwidth resources for everyone to download data.

Our solution is also very intuitive. It's like running a library. When readers increase, more money is invested to expand the grounds of the library to give readers more space. On the other hand, if there aren’t many readers it would help if more was invested into purchasing books that would attract more readers to the library. In our scenario, data collateral is the number of readers, the size of the library is the bandwidth resources of the entire network, and attractive books are high-quality AI data.

As you might guess, the incentive for bandwidth resource contributors comes from the 15% of each block reward previously allocated to bounty hunters. In this 15% reward, the proportion allocated to bandwidth resource providers is as follows.
