Expected Consensus

Expected Consensus (EC) is a probabilistic Byzantine fault-tolerant consensus protocol. At a high level, it operates by running a leader election every epoch in which, on expectation, a set number of participants may be eligible to submit a block.

Proof-of-Replication

A proof-of-replication (PoRep) is an interactive proof system in which a prover defends a publicly verifiable claim that it dedicates unique resources to storing one or more retrievable replicas of a data file.

Proof-of-Spacetime

A proof of space-time (PoSt) is proof that shows the prover has spent an amount of time keeping the reserved space unchanged.
